Embalo’s visit an outcome of President Samia’s Diplomatic Approach

Guinea-Bissau’s President visit to Tanzania serves to indicate an intense approach towards implementation of active engagement on south-south relations.

Tanzania had adopted an economic diplomacy policy as their strategic tool to guide their relarions with other countries.

President Umaro Sissoco Embalo and her host President Suluhu have both embarked in pathways which signal on utilizing effective positive diplomatic tactics to lure foreign direct investment in attempts to improve economic inputs and outputs for their respective countries.

This latest vist of President Embalo in Tanzania will place both countries in a strategic positions of trade by exposing traders of both countries to a wider market, with less restrictions and abundant opportunities to trade on.

H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan who was hailed by President Embalo prior to his visit in Tanzania as a beacon hope and change, has made countless gains for her country through her passionate diplomatic initiatives in Asia and Europe.

Both presidents are expected to affirm on continuation of diplomatic ties between their countries that have lasted since 1984.

Among other things cashew nuts agriculture, education, cyber security, tourism, economic cooperation and African security are expected to be discussed taking into account that both countries operate as non aligned countries.

The visit of President Embalo signals how healthy Tanzania has been under the stewardship of Presudent Samia Suluhu Hassan since she came into power. Tanzania is slowly regaining its regional influence on strategic issues of importance by taking a leading role on collective agendas.

President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s roadmap is likely to penetrate the West African economic market through Guinea-Bissau. Given her internal push to drive up local economic startups and build conducive facilitative environment for foreign investors, Samia’s Tanzania is poised to have the ability to triple export trade to a larger market within Africa in a few years time.
